Our fourth and final membership meeting of 2022 will be held at the Lehigh & Keystone Valley Model Railroad Museum in Bethlehem, PA. Just for our event, the L&KV will be “Conrailizing” their sprawling HO scale layout, which accurately depicts former LV, RDG, and CNJ trackage around the Lehigh Valley Region. Members in attendance will also enjoy a presentation from Mr. Richard Flynn, a former Conrail director who was responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Conrail’s very successful Local Area Management Project (LAM) from 1996 to 1999. There’s also plenty of 1:1 scale railfanning to be had in the area, with both Norfolk Southern’s Lehigh Line and Lehigh Valley Rail Management’s ex-Bethlehem Steel trackage operating within a mile of the L&KV.
